Arizona Guitar Trio
Great music from the Renaissance to the present day is performed by the classical guitarists Scott Anderson, Monte Ewert, and Gabriel Santa Cruz. Over the course of the past six years, audiences of all ages have given enthusiastic responses to our performances. Performance events and venues have been as diverse as a Shakespearian production at Kerr Cultural Center in Scottsdale to a performance for the MIKID charitable organization at Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix. We invite you to listen to our recordings and to review the accompanying background materials. We would be happy to answer any questions or discuss your particular musical needs. Scott gives performances and lectures in schools about the guitar and music history, and also acts as a consultant to teachers in the area of guitar pedagogy. He is currently working on publishing music educational materials. A college guitar instructor for 7 years and secondary school teacher for 25 years, Scott is now doing private guitar instruction in Tempe and Chandler.
Six of Scott's former students have been signed to major labels, including Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World and Chris Thorn of Blind Melon.
